It really is true that you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone. It’s been a long year without being able to visit the Field Museum, but at long last, the doors are reopened and the team is ready to welcome you back with a safe, education experience.
Revisit all of your old favorites: Ancient Egypt, the bird and mammal dioramas, Sue the T. Rex, and the dazzling gem rooms. But the Field Museum doesn’t rest on their laurels. You’ll constantly find new additions and features, including the current Apsáalooke Women and Warriors exhibit. These indigenous people of the Northern Planes have a rich history, and offer a particularly fascinating story coming off of Women’s History Month. The 3D theater is also available for unique and informative presentations, and the gift shop features cool new pieces, including limited edition books and apparel honoring women in science.
Visit the website to check for upcoming events, including free admission days, or to view the recent additions to the Field Museum’s blog to get you geared up for your visit.
