The Fireworks Booze Cruise on June 15th Takes Happy Hour to New Heights

Who says you need a holiday as an excuse to enjoy a fireworks display? The Fireworks Booze Cruise is giving you a front-row seat to a splashy show over Navy Pier right in the middle of your week on Wednesday, June 15th. But the fireworks are actually just the closing act of a full evening of entertainment and fun.

Grab a general admission ticket for the cruise ($25+) and board the boat at least 10 minutes before the 7:30 p.m. departure time. It sets sail on the Chicago River from the Summer of George just off of South Wells. After boarding, feel free to beeline right for the cash bar. Both cash and cards will be accepted as you grab a cocktail, a craft beer, or a glass of wine to get your evening started. There will actually be a pair of bars, one on the upper level and one on the lower level, both in enclosed climate-controlled areas. A live DJ will spin dancing tunes while you drink and nosh on small bites as you cruise down the Chicago River. Once you finally float out onto Lake Michigan, Navy Pier’s fireworks show will light up the sky!
