The Italian eatery pays homage to Mediterranean tradition by crafting as much as possible in-house and usually locally sourced herbs, spices, and other ingredients whenever possible. So from the introductory bread basket to your plate of pasta, you can expect everything to be crafted from scratch shortly before reaching your plate.

To kick off date night, order a few of the small plates. Try the smoked olives and scamorza-stuffed meatballs with house-baked focaccia, sourdough, and grissini or dig into oysters and shrimp with a side of Smoking Goose mortadella and prosciutto di parma. Then share a plate or two of the signature house-made pasta—perhaps the capellini with black kale pesto, smoked walnuts, and blue cheese or the ricotta gnocchi with red sauce and oregano pan gratatto. Still hungry for the main course? Order a whole fried chicken or the roasted whole fish with taleggio-butter Brussels sprouts risotto, fennel and citrus salad, or braised escarole on the side.
